As a point of reference: carved beds, poster bed, deep colored sleigh beds, large armoires, heavy chests, intricate dressers and unusually shaped nightstands are all potential quality pieces. If you think that you have authentic antique furniture, having it appraised would mean a small expense on your part. However, the benefits would return to you a hundredfold, especially if you happen to land on one that can amount to several hundreds of dollars.

4. Subscribe to websites that provide online alerts to furniture sales. Subscription is usually free and most of the furniture pieces being offered here are: runoffs of existing designs, or excess supplies that have been used for store displays, or old designs that the company now wants to be rid off. In any case, these are still quality materials which you can use for your own purposes. Very often, the company will charge you for shipping and delivery costs. But that is a small price to pay for some really great bargains.
